About YOTA

YOTA is the artist name of Jotta Hautanen. Born in Stockholm, she moved to Paris in 2011 and worked with Zoo Brazil early on. The music is synthwave in the sound of the 1980s: neon synths and dreamlike melodies under her own voice, cinematic as a night drive.

The debut album Knight in Shining Armour came in 2017 on French label Computer Science, with Lifelike among the co-writers, followed by Strangers On Film (2019), Hazy Paradise (2020), Lucid Dreams (2021) and Room 412 (2023) on NRW Records. The EP Universe In Flames (2024) was made with Johan Agebjörn. We publish the songs.
