About Klabbes Bank
Klabbes Bank came together in Gothenburg in the early 2000s around composer and keyboard player Klas-Henrik ”Klabbe” Hörngren. The music is instrumental and moves between jazz, electronics and pop, with three horn players over a heavy electronic foundation, dreamlike and cinematic.
The debut arrived in 2005, followed by Kålsäter in 2007 and Je Suis La Mer in 2009, which Svenska Dagbladet and Dagens Nyheter named the Swedish jazz release of the year. Protect The Forest (2012) earned a Grammis nomination in the jazz category, and Ensamheten followed in 2024 on Hoob Records. The band has played in Mexico, the US and the UK, and we manage its compositions.
