About Randy

Randy formed in 1992 in northern Sweden around Stefan Granberg on vocals and guitar, Fredrik Granberg on drums and Johan Brändström on guitar, with Johan Gustafsson on bass from 1997. The band started out in fast skate punk and moved towards a rockier sound with garage attitude, pop hooks and political lyrics.

The debut There’s No Way We’re Gonna Fit In came out on Dolores, followed by The Rest Is Silence, You Can’t Keep a Good Band Down in 1998, The Human Atom Bombs in 2001 on Burning Heart, Welfare Problems in 2003 and Randy the Band in 2005 on Fat Wreck Chords. The band was nominated in 2004 for the Guldmikrofonen as best live act, and for a Grammis for best rock. We look after Randy’s songs.
